CMP Test round #2: Western Europe, Today 18.00 UTC

Postby x4funI<ODIUM>I » May 22nd, 2016, 11:46 am

Dear Players,

to begin the public bug test of the new Community Map Pack,
we will start with the batch of Pacific Maps on Server [762]#3
tonight at 18.00 UTC (20.00 Berlin/Paris).

We'll do a few test rounds, you will have a chance to look at
re-worked maps like Battle Isle 1944 (heavily polished by Papillon)
and new ones like Tarawa and Tulagi (prepared by pr0z4c).
Others have been prepared by GeoPat, especially the small layers.

Lots of new equipment was ported into the CMP by Stubbfan and stuff fixed
by Harmonikater such as the improved Arisaka, Katana and Japanese LMG.

We will continue during the week with more themed test evenings
(Italy, France, North Africa). I will announce that here.
FREMIDENIS has joined our force as mapper and given us the new map
"Bloody Marsh", which will be fun to play.

Now we need YOUR help again: please report your findings here:
As usual, each map has its own thread for reporting bugs.

The quality of the CMP will depend on the amount of support that we
can get from you as community. We are only a small mapping team,
so especially bug testing is something you can really help us with.

After the testing phase, we will run [762]#1 like the last CMP, with a mix of
all FH2 vanilla maps and all CMP maps 1x in the rotation, merged together.
So your work will flow directly into your gaming fun. We can't think of a better
way to include you players in the mapping process. It will be "your" CMP, too.

All CMP maps do have 16p, 32p and 64p layers (=map sizes) and those will be
selected automatically according to player numbers at the end of the round before.

Feel free to ask questions HERE, take a look! :)
Best Regards / MfG
